Welcome from Principal
On behalf of the entire school community of Knockea National School, I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you to our school. We are a co-educational primary school nestled in the picturesque countryside close to the village of Ballyneety, just outside Limerick city. I was appointed Principal of Knockea N.S. in 2008 having taught here for 10 years previously and have been fortunate to see our school grow and develop into the lovely vibrant school we have today.
Central to everything we do here is our school motto:
“Mol an óige agus tiocfaidh sí”.
We endeavour to provide our pupils with a well-ordered, caring, happy and secure environment where they can flourish and develop their own individual talents. We are very fortunate to have a very enthusiastic school community including pupils, staff, parents and guardians, all who contribute to every day school life in Knockea N.S.
If you have any questions or queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us here at the school and we would be delighted to meet you.
I would like to wish the very best to our pupils, their families and our staff for the school year ahead and I look forward to all the exciting times we will share together throughout the year!
Niamh Ambrose
Principal
